OVERVIEW INTEGRASI DAN INTERKONEKSI KEILMUAN DI INDONESIA: PROBLEM DAN GAGASAN

This study aims to examine the integration and interconnection of science in Indonesia as well as the ideas and problems encountered. The research method used in this study is a literature review. Data was collected by gathering several sources such as books and research journals related to the topic. This study found that integration and interconnection are complementary and reinforce each other. There is a correlation between religious studies and general studies, so there is no dichotomy between the two. Several State Islamic Universities have implemented scientific integration with their own models and characteristics. Among them are UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim with its Tree of Knowledge concept, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya with its Twin Towers concept, UIN Sunan Kalijaga with its spider web concept, and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung with its Wheel of Knowledge concept. In its implementation, there are several problems caused by internal and external factors that hinder the implementation of scientific integration and interconnection. However, there are ideas of integration and interconnection that support its application, including the philosophical level, material degree, and integration of Islamic values into courses.
