Abstract

ABSTRACT

Curriculum implementation is part of curriculum development itself. Seller emphasized that the curriculum development process is a series of activities that are carried out continuously. The curriculum must start from determining the orientation of the curriculum, such as educational goals, views about children, the learning process, the environment, the role of the teacher, and learning evaluation. This research aims to answer questions in the problem formulation which include: 1) How is the implementation of the curriculum in improving the quality of student graduates at MANPK Denanyar Jombang. 2) what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of student graduates at MANPK Denanyar Jombang. This research uses a qualitative approach, descriptive method in its presentation, data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, checking the validity of the data uses diligent observation, discussing with other people, and triangulation. In the process of achieving curriculum implementation in improving the quality of student graduates at MANPK Denanyar Jombang, the institution implements several curricula that can create a better quality of student graduates and can realize the vision and mission of the school that has been determined, including: (1) implementation of the program curriculum intensive (2) implementation of the Al-Qur'an curriculum (3) implementation of the Foreign Language curriculum (4) implementation of the yellow book curriculum. In implementing the curriculum, of course there are supporting and inhibiting factors, both from the institution, students and from the community and parents. The institution provides facilities for students who wish to continue higher education and can be called a privilege, the facilities at the institution are very sufficient for teaching and learning activities, and this school is the only MANPK under the auspices of an Islamic boarding school. As for the inhibiting factors, when the Qur'an deposit is carried out after dawn, there are still many new students who lack confidence in interacting with old students because many are not Islamic boarding school graduates, and male students lack discipline in applying foreign languages ??in their daily lives.
