SAMARA: This journal focuses on advancing research in the fields of family law and Islamic law through a multidisciplinary and contextual approach. As an academic forum, the journal brings together researchers, faculty members, legal practitioners, and students to discuss legal issues, Islamic family law, Islamic economic law, religious courts, and various contemporary challenges facing society.

As a journal committed to the quality of scholarly publications, SAMARA implements a rigorous peer-review process, upholds high standards of publication ethics, and ensures that every published article makes a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge, research, and legal practice, particularly in the fields of family law and Islamic law, both nationally and globally.

The journal is published biannually in June and December by the Islamic Family Law Study Program, Institut Agama Islam Nazhatut Thullab Sampang, Indonesia. We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to submit their best scholarly works through our online submission system. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesia or English in accordance with the journal’s submission guidelines. Every accepted article will undergo an objective, independent, and transparent peer-review process to ensure the quality of scholarly publications in accordance with applicable academic standards and publication ethics.
