Abstract

Abstract:

This research discusses literary analysis of type of violence caused by malicious envy towards the lengkara character in the novel 00:00 and the impact of violence in the novel 00:00 have on the Lengkara character.Violence means an act or action of a person that conducted directly or indirectly causing a person or group of person to be tortured or to suffer both mental and physical. In the novel 00:00 by Ameylia Falensia the main female character named Lengkara Putri Langit (Kara) experienced violence from some the other characters in the novel. Violence has several kinds, those are: physical violence, sexual violence, emotional violence, psychological violence, spiritual violence and violence caused by malcious envy. Violence has a huge impact on the victim. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and a psychological approach to find out what the type and impacts of of violence in the novel 00:00 have on the Lengkara character. Apart from that, t\he data in this research was collected from the main character through observation and documentation, then the data was analyzed through Miles and Huberman's three steps, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. From the research results, there are four kinds of violence that experienced by the main female character (Lengkara Putri Langit/Kara) in novel 00:00, there are physical violence as much 11 times, emotional violence as much 15 times, and the last one is psychological violence as much 27 times. The impacts of violence in her life in ovel 00:00 are she was depressed, a depression involves her mood and her thoughts as much 15 times. Then she also felt anxiety; worried and scared to everything that happened in her life as much 24 times. And has post traumatic stress as much 11 times.
