Perlindungan hukum bagi korban kejahatan adalah aspek krusial dalam sistem hukum yang menunjukkan keadilan kepada mereka yang terkena dampak langsung dari tindakan kriminal. Perspektif viktimologi memberikan sudut pandang yang penting dalam memahami pengalaman korban kejahatan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem perlindungan hukum. Penelitian ini menyelidiki efektivitas kompensasi sebagai alat pemulihan bagi korban kejahatan dan implikasinya terhadap pemahaman dan tindakan dalam konteks hukum. Melalui metode analisis literatur, penelitian ini mengungkapkan gambaran umum tentang perlindungan hukum bagi korban kejahatan dalam berbagai konteks hukum dan menyoroti peran viktimologi dalam memahami pengalaman korban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem perlindungan hukum bagi korban kejahatan memiliki keragaman yang signifikan antara negara-negara, dengan beberapa negara memiliki kerangka hukum yang komprehensif sementara yang lain masih kurang terstruktur. Kompensasi diidentifikasi sebagai alat penting dalam pemulihan korban, memberikan pengakuan dan bantuan finansial atas kerugian yang mereka alami. Implikasi temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya integrasi perspektif viktimologi dalam sistem hukum untuk meningkatkan perlindungan dan pemulihan korban kejahatan. Legal protection for crime victims is a crucial aspect of the legal system that demonstrates justice to those directly affected by criminal acts. The perspective of victimology provides an important viewpoint in understanding the experiences of crime victims and evaluating the effectiveness of the legal protection system. This research investigates the effectiveness of compensation as a tool for the recovery of crime victims and its implications for understanding and action within the legal context. Through a method of literature analysis, this study reveals a general overview of legal protection for crime victims in various legal contexts and highlights the role of victimology in understanding the experiences of victims. The research findings indicate that the legal protection system for crime victims varies significantly among countries, with some countries having comprehensive legal frameworks while others are still less structured. Compensation is identified as an important tool in the recovery of victims, providing recognition and financial assistance for the losses they have suffered. The implications of these findings underline the importance of integrating victimological perspectives into the legal system to enhance the protection and recovery of crime victims. Recommendations for further research include in-depth studies of crime victims' experiences in various social and cultural contexts, as well as further evaluation of the effectiveness of victim protection policies.
